KCL is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for neurodiverse children through a range of specialized therapies. We offer speech, behavior, and occupational therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. As children make progress, we gradually integrate them into a regular preschool environment, ensuring they are accompanied by a shadow teacher for additional support. These children receive customized curriculums designed to address their specific developmental goals.
Transition Class for Neurodiverse Learners
At KCL, we understand that every child’s journey to learning is unique. Our Special Education Transition Class is thoughtfully designed as a bridge between therapy and mainstream schooling, offering a nurturing environment where neurodiverse learners can thrive.
This class serves as the first step for children to adapt to the structure and discipline of a classroom setting while fostering social connections and building foundational academic skills. Guided by compassionate and experienced educators, students are encouraged to socialize with peers, engage in collaborative activities, and grow in confidence and independence.
Our program combines individualized support with opportunities for group interaction, ensuring each child progresses at their own pace. We believe in creating a safe, inclusive space where neurodiverse children can develop essential skills and lay the groundwork for successful integration into mainstream education.
